L\u2019\u0153uvre \u00e9chafaude une approche du corps dialoguant avec l\u2019anatomie urbaine. Constitu\u00e9 de mat\u00e9riaux qui ne sont pas cens\u00e9s se rencontrer, hybridations textiles, bois et cuivre, IMHOTEP interroge la force de construction du corps, qui s\u2019ancre dans les structures massives urbaines. Les villes ou l\u2019architecture arborent un vocabulaire organique. Le corps puise ses mat\u00e9riaux de construction dans son patrimoine g\u00e9n\u00e9tique. Ectomorphe, il d\u00e9veloppe son squelette architectural. Endomorphe, ancr\u00e9 au sol, trapu agglom\u00e9r\u00e9 de masses organiques soumises \u00e0 la contrainte de sa propre enveloppe, il se colonise l\u2019espace. M\u00e9somorphe, son ossature est solide, robuste il s\u2019implante. \u00abUrbi et Orbi \u00bb, le corps est un quartier, compos\u00e9 de parcelles cellulaires maill\u00e9es entre elles. En auto-construction sans autorisation pr\u00e9alable, il est le Ma\u00eetre d\u2019ouvrage de sa propre structure. Macroscopique, il implante son propre patrimoine g\u00e9n\u00e9tique dans la ville.
